Nestled in the northern Green Mountains, Lamoille County is home to iconic destinations such as Stowe Mountain Resort, Mount Mansfield, and Von Trapp Family Lodge. The Lamoille Valley Rail Trail runs right through the heart of Lamoille County, including the shire town of Hyde Park and Morrisville, the county’s largest town.

Local Motion supports the efforts of local communities to make Lamoille County and its towns safer for walking and biking. We are working with the citizens of Morrisville to improve safety on the Route 100 bypass and create better connectivity between the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail and the Morrisville town center.
