Trailside Center Bike Rentals
We seek friendly, bike-loving folks to join our team as Trailside Center Staff for the 2026 season. Enjoy the beauty of the Burlington Waterfront while renting bikes to customers from all over the world. Our Trailside Center is open May-October and weekend availability is a must.

Bike Ferry
We seek friendly, bike-loving folks to join our Bike Ferry team. Our Bike Ferry is a 45-foot pontoon boat designed to carry passengers and bikes across the gap on the beautiful Colchester Causeway.

Bike Ferry Deckhands

Ambassadors greet people out on the Causeway and manage the flow of passengers waiting to board the Ferry. They explain the Ferry process, solicit donations and provide helpful information about the area and about Local Motion. Weekend hours required. Valet Bike Parking
We seek friendly, bike-loving folks to join our Valet Bike Parking team. Valet Bike Parking is a secure bike parking service that allows riders to safely park their bikes with a reliable attendant and enjoy their event worry-free.
- Valet Bike Parking Team Members
Work in pairs, along with a small group of volunteers, to set up, operate, and clean up Valet Bike Parking at events in and around Burlington. Events are evenings and weekends, in Burlington, and Friday availability is required.

Valet Bike Parking Coordinator
Lead the Valet Bike Parking team for the 2026 season. Work with a small team to set up, execute, and clean up VBP at events around Burlington and maintain the behind-the-scenes organization needed to keep the Valet Bike Parking program running smoothly throughout the season, including organizing our dedicated volunteers, scheduling staff for events, and ensuring data is collected in a timely manner.
