COVID-19 Statement & Program Updates

Updated as of 8/11/20

COVID-19 Statement: The COVID-19 pandemic has caused major health and economic impacts in Vermont and throughout our country.  While following Governor Scott’s “Stay Home, Stay Safe” order as updated, Local Motion is committed to continuing services to our Vermont community with renewed spirit and emphasis on safety for all. We want you to know what we are doing to keep our staff safe and healthy and you, our customers and supporters, safe and healthy too.  We will be updating this information as needed.

If you have COVID-19 symptoms, have traveled in affected locations, or have had contact with someone who has traveled in affected locations or who has COVID-19 symptoms, please stay home and follow CDC guidelines.

It is a requirement for all those in Vermont to wear masks or cloth facial coverings over their nose and mouth any time they are in public spaces, indoors or outdoors, where they come in contact with others from outside their households, especially in congregate settings, and where it is not possible to maintain a physical distance of at least six feet. To alleviate concern for our staff serving our customers, it is important that you wear a mask and maintain a safe physical distance as much as possible at all of our locations.
