Want some pro tips on how to bike safely with your kids? Join Local Motion for a one-hour "safe family biking" learning ride! Instructors Jason Van Driesche and his 10-year-old daughter Amelia will demonstrate easy-to-learn safe biking techniques on a short ride. Participants will be able to practice these techniques, ask questions, and troubleshoot specific safe riding challenges.
Free and open to the public. Please bring a functioning bike and helmet for yourself and your kids, as they are required for participation. There are three available dates and locations:
THIS RSVP: Old North End Safe Family Ride: Sept. 28 from 3:00p-4:00p. We'll start at the Integrated Arts Academy!
This date doesn't work or you? Try these!
New North End Safe Family Ride: Sept. 24 from 3:30-4:30. We'll start at the Miller Center.
RSVP for the date of your choice to reserve your spot. Each learning ride is capped at 10 families, so don't wait!
