    Tour de Heifer

15-30-60 mile Vermont Dirt Road Rides

The Tour de Heifer's 60 and 30 mile challenge routes follow dirt roads with minimal pavement. Both entail significant elevation change -- that is, hill-climbing, and lots of it! Both the 30 and 60 mile challenges are loop rides with opportunities for bailing out.

Families and people who love to walk will enjoy our guided hike to the top of nearby Round Mountain.

All of the begin and end at Lilac Ridge Farm in West Brattleboro, and feature incredible views, farm and woodland terrain, New England villages (one with a covered bridge), and much more.

    What does it support?

The Tour is a fund-raiser for Strolling of the Heifers -- The Tour helps support the Stroll's Farm to Table Apprenticeship Program, which teaches nutrition and culinary skills to underemployed community members, placing them in full-time, permanent positions at local restaurants and institutional kitchens.

    Ride around Lake Memphremagog

This ride is a favorite of the local Kingdom Velo Group - a guided tour around Lake Memphremagog with stops at Georgeville, Magog, The Abby and Masonville. This 80 mile route is a great way to "warm up"  for the kingdom game weekend, or do it as a stand-alone day ride and forget the rest! But, you better bring your passport! This ride involves International Travel and is just so much fun.

    Kingdom Graveleur KG2.0 Adventure Ride

The date is set. Let's do it all over again, this time with a brand new course that travels to some fresh new areas. The Kingdom Graveleur KG2.0 gravel bike ride will be kinder and gentler than last year with a distance of just over 100 miles and an average elevation gains of 100' per mile. The terrain will be remote and virtually all gravel surface with less thank 10% paved road.

As always, this is just a group ride. There are no route marking and there is no support. Everyone needs to be self sufficient and self reliant, navigation via GPS tracks, the stars, following tracks or whatever works for you.

Just a bunch of friends getting together for a bike ride, and maybe some food and drink afterwards.
