Local Motion's Bike Ferry, located 10 miles from Burlington on the beautiful Colchester Causeway, needs volunteer Dockside Ambassadors! Greet passengers and provide tourist info to the best of your knowledge. Receive training on-site when you arrive for your shift. 

Bike Ferry Volunteer Shift Schedule

The Ferry is closed for the season.  We welcome your interest in volunteering with us in 2023! 

To get an idea of the shifts, there are typically two volunteer shifts each day:

9:45am - 1:45pm

1:15pm - 5:15pm

Volunteer shifts take place at the Ferry, located at the Cut on the Colchester Causeway! Be sure to factor in an extra half hour on either side of your shift for travel down the Causeway.
