Please join us for a party on Tuesday, May 8th at Skinny Pancake at 6:00 pm. Come help us mark the change in the weather as well as the changes happening at Local Motion.
After nearly a year of exhaustive searches and interviews, we were so excited to welcome Karen Yacos as our new Executive Director in late February. Karen has a passion for and background in sustainable community development. She brings an extensive background in urban planning, corporate sustainability and philanthropy to her role.
In early April, Allegra Williams joined us from the prestigious halls of MIT as our new Community Technical Assistance Manager. She will lead our on-the-ground, community efforts across the state and make sure that everyone, motorists and cyclists alike, are staying within their relative lines.
And lastly, as you may have heard, after 9 years with Local Motion, Jason Van Dreische will be hanging up his hat as one of Vermont's preeminent bike/walk advocates for a new adventure with the team over at Front Porch Forum.
We'll be welcoming Karen and Allegra as well as wishing Jason well, over at the Skinny Pancake on Tuesday, May 8th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and hope that you'll be able to swing by to say "Hi" as well as "Goodbye".
And really, what's a party without food and drink? Skinny Pancake will be supplying party-goers with some sustenance. So come drink, eat and revel with us on Tuesday!
