Vital Communities is a nonprofit organization working to make their region a better place to live, work, and play every day. They are based in White River Junction and bring together citizens, organizations, and municipalities in the Upper Connecticut River Valley and New Hampshire to take on issues where an independent voice and regional approach are essential. Their programs include Valley Quest, Leadership Upper Valley, Local First Alliance, Transportation, Valley Food and Farm, and Energy.
