Thank you for volunteering with Local Motion! We had a wonderful 2024 season thanks to YOU!

In 2024, Local Motion enjoyed help from 125 different volunteers - 47 volunteered with the Bike Ferry, 56 with Valet Bike Parking, 28 with our Group Bike Rides, and many helped with more than one of those activities! 

Volunteers donated 1,810 hours of their time, and filled 514 open shifts.

Our Bike Ferry operated over 115 days, saw over 21,000 crossings, and was only closed due to maintenance or weather a handful of times. 

For Valet Bike Parking, we attended 67 events, and parked a whopping total of 4,741 bikes. (This picture is from our busiest night of the year, during the SEABA Art Hop.)

Wow, that’s a lot of hard work! Please pat yourself on the back for a job well done. We couldn’t have done it without you, and we are deeply grateful for your help!
