Please join us for a Critical Mass ride on Wednesday, August 12, at 5:30 p.m. to honor Shiloh Skalka, a 16-year-old Burlington High School student who was killed while riding her bike July 16.
Shiloh leaves behind a legacy of kindness, selflessness, humor and a profound appreciation for the beauty of the world.
Meet at the corner of Pine and Locust Streets in Burlington, where there is a memorial for Shiloh. This ride is an opportunity to remember Shiloh, support her family, and stand together as a community in support of safer streets for everyone.
Like Shiloh, we will delight in feeling the wind and simple joy of experiencing the world around us. In her memory, we ride as one.
Volunteers are needed to help keep the ride together: Signup here
A memorial fund has been set up through the Vermont Community Foundation: gofundme.com/manage/remembering-shiloh-a-fund-for-kindness-and-creativity.
