Join us for a public meeting on walking and biking in Burlington's East End - open to everyone. Look at past plans, speak with City staff and Councilors, and talk about what needs to happen to make this neighborhood better for your daily trips.
Wednesday, October 7th from 5:30–7:00 PM at the Schmanska Park Barn, 63 Grove Street
Can't make the meeting, but have ideas on how to make walking and biking better in the East End? Share your thoughts through the East End Walk/Bike Forum: https://arcg.is/rzfXC
The forum will include stations where we can discuss what's working, what small fixes could make a real difference, and what bigger, planned projects the neighborhood wants to see move forward. City staff will be there too, listening to and engaging with you. We can discuss your experiences walking your kids to school, the bike lane gap in your commute, a dangerous intersection on the way to the grocery store - the important thing is to show up and share your experiences so the City can take steps to improve walking and biking safety for our community.
Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
