Battery Street Cone Keepers 2021

We are looking for volunteers to check the cones along the Burlington Greenway Detour along Battery Street from the King Street intersection up to Main Street. Your role will be to fix and reposition any tipped or moved cones.

Burlington is upgrading the bike path detour along Battery Street to make it safe for all users. The new and improved route will be a two-way buffered bike lane on the west side, from Maple Street to Main Street. Lower Main Street will have painted bike lanes and sharrows.

The two-way bike lane on Battery Street will be protected/delineated with large cones, just like what was used last summer on Pine Street and North Avenue.

We're looking for volunteers to help maintain the detour by checking the cones. Two shifts are available every day, and City Market Member Worker credit is available. Will you be a Cone Keeper?
