In partnership with Vermont Agency of Transportation, and along with participating organizations and sponsors, the Bennington County Regional Commission will host the statewide Vermont Walk/Bike Summit in Bennington on Friday, May 8, 2026.

The event will take place at the Bennington Theater, with classroom and mobile workshops throughout the day in downtown Bennington.

The Vermont Walk/Bike Summit is an opportunity to connect with Vermont's active transportation community. We welcome anyone interested in promoting bikeable and walkable communities including bicycle and pedestrian advocates, planners, professionals, consultants, and enthusiasts. Registration opens in March.
