The 2024 Essex Pride Festival will take place at Maple Street Park, starting at 1 pm with a walking/rolling parade from the entrance down the the Festival field.

The Festival will kick off with Vermont's chapter of Drag Story Hour featuring Emoji Nightmare and Katniss Everqueer, and an afternoon filled with performances by local artists and musicians and activities for folks of all ages. Throughout the day, there will be vendors and local organizations, as well as a Community Canvas that we invite everyone to contribute to. The event will begin and end with a joyful and celebratory dance party with GAYBAR. 

Essex Pride exists to enhance and sustain the well-being of LGBTQIA+ individuals, their families, and their allies in the City of Essex Junction and the Town of Essex, Vermont; to provide support, social opportunities and cultivate safe spaces within a community of acceptance; and to advocate for LGBTQIA+ interests and equality.
