Screen_Shot_2018-04-23_at_8.19.59_AM.pngIn partnership with the Vermont Agency of Transportation, and a number of other participating organizations and sponsors, the Southern Windsor County Regional Planning Commission and the Two Rivers-Ottauquechee Regional Commission will host the 2018 statewide Vermont Walk/Bike Summit of May 4th, 2018 at the Barrette Center for the Arts through a partnership with Northern Stage in downtown White River Junction.

The Summit Program has been released and Congressman Peter Welch has confirmed his attendance. The high-acclaimed keynote speaker, Russ Roca, co-owner of The Path Less Pedaled - a bike travel blog-turned-business - is thrilled to check out what Vermont has to offer. This year's summit will include interactive "Demo-It" sessions like how to set up a Valet Bike Parking System in your community, test driving an E-bike or learn how to DIY a crosswalk stencil design by Team Better Block and AARP. Thank you to NNECAPA and VT ASLA for making CM and Laces credits available for this event.
