Bike and Sewing Machine Collection for International Development Projects 

Do you have a bike or a sewing machine that’s taking up space and collecting dust? Set it free to bring hope and opportunity to someone in the developing world.  Bring it to the annual Pedals for Progress collection on September 24th.  sponsored by members of the  Since 1999, the Green Mountain Returned Peace Corps Volunteers have shipped more than 3,000 bikes and 100 sewing machines from to self-help projects on 4 continents. 

WHEN: Saturday, September 24th, 2016  9am - 1pm 
WHERE: Former Kmart Parking lot, 947 Shelburne Rd, South Burlington
DONATION: We request a tax-deductible $10 donation with each bike or sewing machine to help defray the cost of shipping. You will receive a receipt for the value of your donation.

No bike or sewing machine to donate?  Like us on Facebook at Pedals for Progress Vermont; spread the word about the event to co-workers and friends; or volunteer to help on the 24th.
