2024 marks Local Motion's 25th year as an organization, and we are so excited to celebrate our past and envision the the decades to come. From our humble beginnings in 1999, when community leaders came together to develop the Winooski River Bike Ferry, we have grown exponentially to become Vermont's statewide advocacy group for biking, walking, and rolling.
(Oh yeah, and we continue to run a world-class bike ferry, taking riders across the Cut in the Island Line Trail year after year.)

This August 11, we are hosting a ride, walk, and roll event followed by a party at Snow Farm Vineyards. There are two sizes and multiple route options - bring your family, bring your friends, bring your local cycling club! All are welcome to join the afterparty, participants or no.
