Covered Bike Parking for Downtown Brattleboro Project
Have you ever tried to find a place to park your bike in downtown Brattleboro when it was raining or snowing? Sheltered bicycle parking spots are few and far between!
BCAT and Local Motion need your support to install new covered bike parking at the Brattleboro Food Co-op.
Project Description
BCAT will purchase and install a Dero Vizor shelter unit to cover the existing bike parking at the Co-op. We’ve researched lots of shelters. This one is strong enough to handle the snow load and fits with the Coop’s building design. Additionally, Windham Regional Career Center Building Trades Class will donate their time and expertise to install the shelter.
The cost for the shelter unit is $8,750. We've already raised $3,500, so our goal is to raise the remaining $5,250. You can see progress towards meeting that goal in the progress bar at the top of this page.
