Bike Skills Trainings and Camps for Children |
|
Starting in spring 2010, Local Motion will be working with a range of partners across Chittenden County to offer bike skills trainings and camps for kids in grades 3 through 8. The trainings and camps will all use the Center for Health and Learning's BikeSmart-OnBike curriculum. They will range from two-hour after-school programs to four-hour summer rec program modules to six-hour mini-camps. Participants will all have the opportunity to practice their cycling skills under the supervision of a trained instructor. Bikes and helmets will be provided for the duration of the training to all children who need them.
