Bikes will be available to rent on Saturday, May 19th & Sunday, May 20th. Daily rentals will begin on Saturday, May 26th. Before then, we recommend going to Skirack or North Star Sports, which are both just a few blocks up Main St. from the Local Motion Trailside Center and the Burlington bike path.
Right on the trail, Local Motion's Trailside Center is a great place to start your bicyling adventure. Whether you're 6 or 60, we can set you up on a bike that's just your speed. We're open daily from Memorial Day weekend through Columbus Day weekend.
We rent hybrid and comfort bicycles especially suited for the trail's paved and unpaved sections. We also rent a limited selection of tandem bicycles, mountain bikes, trailers, and tag-a-longs for kids. Proceeds support Local Motion's non-profit mission.
There are also a number of other outdoor shops that rent equipment. Most are members of Local Motion and we like sending them business! Tell them we sent you.
