Right on the trail, Local Motion's Trailside Center is a great place to start your bicyling adventure. Whether you're 6 or 60, we can set you up on a bike that's just your speed.

We rent hybrid and comfort bicycles especially suited for the trail's paved and unpaved sections. We also rent cruiser-style tandem bicycles as well as bikes, trailers, and tag-a-longs for kids.
Proceeds support Local Motion's non-profit mission.

Rentals are on a first come, first served basis.

Dept of Public Works Bike Lockers – easy & secure bike storage in Burlington's bustling downtown!
Bicycle lockers are now available in the Marketplace Parking Garage! Whether you are a resident or a visitor, these 10 bike lockers downtown provide a great way to store your bike and gear.For 6-month rentals: download an application or pick one up at the DPW front desk (645 Pine St).
For short-term rentals: simply insert $0.25, close the door, and remove the key. Insert the key when you are ready to remove your bicycle.
POLICIES: Bicycle lockers may only be used to park bicycles and related equipment. Any items stored within the locker that are not bicycle related may be removed by the City at your expense and may be subject to disposal without your consent, or assessed a storage fee at your expense. Bicycles parked in the short-term lockers for longer than 14 consecutive days may be considered abandoned and removed by the Burlington Police Department.
