Local Motion's Trailside Center is a resource for residents and visitors alike.  With tables, shade and refreshments, the Trailside Center is the bike path's best rest stop. Come in and find out what Local Motion is doing and how you can help!

Right on the trail, Local Motion's Trailside Center is a great place to start your bicyling adventure. Whether you're 6 or 60, we can set you up on a bike that's just your speed. We're open daily from Memorial Day weekend through Columbus Day weekend.

We rent hybrid and comfort bicycles especially suited for the trail's paved and unpaved sections. We also rent a limited selection of tandem bicycles, mountain bikes, trailers, and tag-a-longs for kids.

Our rental fleet is provided through a cooperative partnership with Skirack and North Star Sports. Proceeds support Local Motion's non-profit mission.

There are also a number of other outdoor shops that rent equipment. Most are members of Local Motion and we like sending them business! Tell them we sent you.

2011 Rental Rates

Rentals are on a first come, first serve basis. We only take reservations on our rental equipment at the full day rate. Reservations must be prepaid. To reserve a bike with a credit card, call us at (802) 652-2453 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting (802) 652-2453 end_of_the_skype_highlighting.

Local Motion members get a 10% discount. Rental proceeds support Local Motion's efforts to make the Burlington area a great place to walk, bike, run and ski.
