Right on the trail, Local Motion's Trailside Center is a great place to start your trail adventure. Whether you're 6 or 60, we can set you up on a bike that's just your speed. We're open 10-6 daily from May through October.
We rent hybrid bicycles especially suited for the trail's paved and unpaved sections. We also rent a limited selection of tandem bicycles, trailers, and tag-a-longs for kids.
Our rental fleet is provided through a cooperative partnership with Vermont Adaptive Ski & Sport, Skirack, and North Star Sports. Proceeds support Local Motion's non-profit mission.
There are also a number of other outdoor shops that rent equipment. Most are members of Local Motion and we like sending them business! Tell them we sent you.

Rentals are on a first come, first serve basis. We only take reservations on our rental equipment at the full day rate. Reservations must be prepaid. To reserve a bike with a credit card, call us at (802) 652-2453.
Local Motion members get a 10% discount. Rental proceeds support Local Motion's efforts to make the Burlington area a great place to walk, bike, run and ski.
