Old Spokes Home & Bike Recycle Vermont hiring Executive Director

Burlington Bicycle Project is a not-for-profit organization that operates Old Spokes Home & Bike Recycle Vermont in Burlington, Vermont.

Although we are a relatively new organization, our programs and bike shop have been in continuous operation since 2005. We are now looking for an Executive Director to work with our dedicated staff and volunteers and to help our organization achieve its mission. This is an exciting opportunity for a socially minded entrepreneurial leader.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • several years of leadership experience with staff supervision responsibilities;
  • experience managing retail and/or service and/or educational programs in an enterprise with a strong social mission or a not-for-profit organization;
  • familiarity with bikes and the bicycle industry.

The Art and Soul of Local Motion

For Dunkiel Saunders' annual Art and Soul exhibition, local artists submit work inspired by the non-profit beneficiary's mission. A sneak peak at the more than 150 pieces selected for the 2016 show, reveals a depth and breadth of inspiration that comes from our shared love of living life on foot and by bike! See the show Thurs, Jun 9 from 5:30pm to 9pm at the offices of Dunkiel Saunders on College Street, Burlington. This years Art and Soul event will benefit Local Motion.
