South Burlington Connections

Local Motion is working as part of the Project Team to make South Burlington streets safer for walking and biking by filling key gaps in the city's bicycle and pedestrian network on Dorset St, Airport Parkway, Spear St and Allen Rd with multi-use paths and on-road bicycle facilities as appropriate.

May, 2016: We have just launched a brand new website and are working to fully update our project pages. We will have more information posted shortly. In the meantime, if you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, please reach out to our Community Technical Assistance Manager, Katelin Brewer-Colie.

It is very exciting to be joining the SoBu community! Looking over all the infrastructure projects has been inspiring. The one thing I am looking for is a way to see what the Roadmap is? What is the funding for each phase or project. It is important to communicate these. I am also wondering where we can propose other ideas, outside of just the Penny for Paths project, e.g. placing a nice park by the proposed rec path from Hinesburg Road to Veterans Memorial park. (One with swings, picnic tables, a field, basketball court, etc…).

How do I post a photo of a critical turn on the rec path?
