Meetings & Events

There are a lot of great ways to get involved in making Brattleboro a safer place to walk and bike. Aside from fun community events, the Brattleboro Coalition for Active Transportation holds meetings on the third Monday of every month, from 12-1:30 in the Hannah Cosman Meeting Room at the Municipal Center. In addition, Safe Street Forums are held annually in the fall. For the last three years, these forums have been a space for the Town Manager, Department of Public Works, and Town Planner to discuss projects that have been completed in the last year to improve infrastructure for bicyclists & pedestrian safety, projects that are in the pipeline for the near future, and how citizens can get involved to advocate for these changes. Forums also provide an opportunity for community members to share their safety concerns and infrastructure requests with town officials.
