    Tour de Farms 2019

This year’s biking farm tour will feature two distances—a 30-mile route and a more relaxed, family-friendly 10-mile distance. You’ll pass through the beautiful pastoral landscape of the Champlain Valley and visit four to eight farms depending on your distance. Each farm stop will host additional food and beverage producers so there’ll be plenty of sustenance along the way. Riders sample everything from maple iced coffee and farm fresh salads to maple glazed ham and Vermont’s famous cheeses! At the end of your journey, spend some time enjoying the food and music at Vergennes’ Eat on the Green event.

Annual Bike and Sewing Machine Collection

Is your bike or sewing machine collecting dust?

On Saturday, September 21, members of the Green Mountain Returned Peace Corps Volunteers will be collecting bikes and sewing machines from 9 am to 1 pm in the Shaw's Supermarket parking lot at 570 Shelburne Rd, Burlington. We request $10 per item to help with shipping costs.

These donations will go to projects bringing hope and dignity to families in developing countries. We are about 20+ years into this effort and have sent 4000 bikes and 500 sewing machines to developing countries.

Please like us and share our Facebook posts @P4Pvermont.
