Resources for Students

Introduction

It's not winter anymore!  Spring has finally sprung!

Welcome to Local Motion's Student Resource Page! With spring just around the corner, now is the perfect time to get out on your bicycle and enjoy the weather Vermont should be known for! Cycling is a fun and relaxing way to get around the University of Vermont campus. Not only is cycling a great method of alternative transportation, but it's great for your health and the environment too! Use this website to learn more about riding opportunities on campus! This is a website for students, written by students.

**Local Motion is a local non-profit promoting bicycling, walking, running, in-line skating and the facilities that make such travel safe, easy, and fun! Partnering with University of Vermont Senior Scott Dolmat-Connell, this is a website for students, written by students.

Additional Comments

Give the website a test "spin" and feel free to add comments and suggestions in the Resources for Students blog! Remember, this is a public site graciously hosted by the awesome people down at Local Motion.  Don't write anything you wouldn't want your grandmother to see!

Tired of hearing everyone tell you to put your helmet back on? How about a new way to think about wearing your helmet? Here are the top ten instances when you should NOT be wearing your helmet. If it is not on the list, you SHOULD be wearing your helmet. How is that for reverse psychology?!
