Poor visibility contributed to a car's hitting a pedestrian at the intersection of North Prospect and Pearl streets in Burlington on Wednesday evening, police said.
At about 5:30 p.m., police said a middle-aged, female pedestrian was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the car was not injured. Police suspect driving conditions contributed to the incident, and no foul play is suspected. It was raining at the time of the accident.
Further information was not immediately available.
