FREE WORKSHOP: Basic Maintenance & DIY Flat Fix

Hosted by Old Spokes Home

The goal of this workshop is to demystify the bicycle. Participants will learn basic bike anatomy and vocabulary, how to care for your bike, how to diagnose common issues, and how to fix a flat tire. We’ll recommend tools for maintenance and on-the-road fixes. Of course, feel free to ride your bike to the class, but we will not be working directly on participants' bikes.

The workshop is two hours long. Please wear closed toe shoes and clothes that can get a little dirty.

Participants will go home with a bottle of chain lube, a pair of tire levers and a patch kit.

Also, pizza is provided!

And, if 10 or more people show up, a lucky winner gets a $50 gift card for the shop (so please show up!).

This workshop, the materials provided, and the gift card giveaway are made possible with support from our friends at Local Motion.

We appreciate you marking "Interested" or "Attending" via the Facebook event, but you must reserve your spot here to attend.

Note that this workshop is at Generator Makerspace off Pine St., not at Old Spokes Home or Old Spokes Home Community Workshop.
