Shoulders Mysteriously Disappear On Roadways

wr_narrow_shoulder_1Local Motion members have been contacting us lately to report a disturbing trend of shoulders disappearing on area roadways.

To accommodate more cars, towns are restriping the road space and shoulders are vanishing.  Two recent locations include:

  • Flynn Avenue, Burlington -- between Pine Street and Oakledge Park
  • Susie Wilson Road, Essex -- between Route 15 and Kellogg Road
We are following up on both situations.  If you notice shoulders dissappearing in your town, please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
