This course gives cyclists the confidence they need to ride safely and legally in traffic or on the trail. Our League-certified instructors cover bicycle safety checks, fixing a flat, on-bike skills, and crash avoidance techniques. The course includes a detailed student manual. Recommended for adults and teens (15 and older).
Local Motion will be offering the course in a variety of formats in the Spring and Fall of 2010.
The Spring 2010 course will take place on Apr 27, May 4, May 11, and May 15 in South Burlington. All four sessions are required. NOTE: The location of the first class has changed to the O'Brien Senior Center at Jaycee Park, 113 Patchen Road, South Burlington (map). All other classes meet at the South Burlington High School.
The Fall 2010 course includes an all-day intensive course as well as half-day basic and advanced modules that can be taken separately.
