Would YOU use a walk-bike path along Route 15?

Would YOU use a separated walk-bike path along Route 15?  The Essex Reporter wants to know!  Go to http://www.essexreporter.com/notes/ and tell them what YOU will do once there is a safe and direct way to walk and bike between Essex Junction and Winooski.

By way of background:  the Circ Alternatives Task Force recently recommended to VTrans that it allocate $2 million for building a separated, shared-use path along Route 15 from Lime Kiln Road to Susie Wilson Road.  This segment of path is at the heart of an ambitious and exciting plan to make it easy, safe, and fun to walk and bike between Essex Junction and Winooski.  For details, visit http://www.ccrpcvt.org/vt15-multiuse-path/.
This is a huge step.  The idea of a path along Route 15 has been studied three or four times over the last couple of decades, but this is the first time that there is money on the table to move towards construction.  The towns, the regional planning commission, and VTrans all deserve a huge THANK YOU for giving the go-ahead to this important project.  Please respond to the Essex Reporter’s poll at  http://www.essexreporter.com/notes/ and send a message that the community appreciates their investment in this key regional transportation resource!
While you’re at it, let your selectboard members, trustees, and other community leaders know that you support the Route 15 path.  Let’s push this great new resource right over the top!

Absolutely needed, especially with St. Michael's College along this proposed Path.
It will still be difficult to navigate from 5 Corners Essex to Winooski and beyond, but
proposed piece is most needed section.
