With the warm summer months approaching, the Burlington waterfront and bike path will soon be abuzz with bikes and pedestrians. Local Motion’s Trailside Center is at the heart of the action. Each year from May through October our Trailside Center staff facilitate positive cycling experiences while spreading the word about Local Motion’s advocacy initiatives.
It’s time to gear up for the 2010 season. We are seeking cycling enthusiasts to run the bicycle rental operation, provide cycling advice and trail assistance to customers and bike path users, and assist Local Motion staff with other projects as needed. Our waterfront Trailside Center is a fun, fast-paced place to work.
Hourly wages – $10 – $11/hr; 16-30 hrs/week. Ability to work weekends required. Successful candidates will have familiarity with routine bicycle maintenance and the ability to convey information in a clear, enthusiastic manner.
