Burlington winters rarely provide the conditions for skiing or snow shoeing on the path. A plowed and sanded path would allow daily pedestrian and bike use of the beautiful path and a break from riding on roads made narrower by snow banks. I've been told that in Madison, they plow the bike paths before the roads. I'm all for plowing and sanding the bike path.
