Do you know a kids who like to take things apart?  Like to get their hands dirty?  Like to ride bikes?

Let them know about Bike Recycle Vermont’s ‘Earn-A-Bike’ initiative.  Kids who volunteer for a number of sessions, learn the names of the various parts of the bicycle, and show that they know how to do some basic repairs can build their own custom bicycle!

Bike Recycle Vermont is a great community bike shop where donated bicycles are rehabilitated and provided to low-income Vermonters.  It’s a great multi-generational space and a fun place for youth to learn everything about bicycles.  Thank you to the AD Henderson Foundation and the Tarrant Foundation for underwriting this opportunity.

To find out more about Earn-A-Bike, email Emily Eschner or call the shop at 802-264-9687.
