Local Motion's stolen bike registry allows people who have had their bike stolen AND who have filed a report with the police to enter that report online.  Bike shops around the region can view reports in real time, and they check the registry whenever someone attempts to sell them a used bike.  The registry can help you get your bike back IF you enter your report promptly -- that is, before the thief attempts to sell your bike.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  You MUST have already filed a report with the police in order to use this registry. The police officer will give you a username and password for this site.  Use that login information to access the form below.  You will be asked for the "incident number" and the name of the reporting officer, so please have your police report handy.  If you have not yet filed a police report, please call your local police department right away.
