Do it by bike: affordable solutions for making your bike more utilitarian

69% of trips under two miles in the United States are made in a car.

Imagine if more of those trips were made by bicycle!

It's easier to use your bike for short trips when you're outfitted to carry your computer, groceries, sport gear, kids, pets, and other necessities.

We'll look at racks, baskets, bucket panniers, pannier bags, milk crates, cargo bikes, and more. We'll talk about the benefits, drawbacks, and costs of each.

We'll also talk about weatherizing your bike and making it safer.

Rear racks will be available for purchase at subsidized prices, and you'll have the ability to make yourself a set of kitty litter bucket panniers for free.

FREE PIZZA.

Each attendee will receive $10 worth of Spokes Bucks to spend on tools at Old Spokes Home.

If 10 or more people show up, one lucky attendee will go home with a $50 Old Spokes Home gift card.

This workshop and the materials provided are made possible with support from our friends at Local Motion.
